On Tuesday, April 21st, Google confirmed its roll out of their “Mobilegeddon” update which was supposed to suppress non-mobile friendly websites. So far no major damages ensued, however Google has made it very clear that this will, over time, effect the rankings of websites in mobile search.

Now searchers can more easily find high-quality and relevant results where text is readable without tapping or zooming, tap targets are spaced appropriately, and the page avoids unplayable content or horizontal scrolling.
